Founded in May 1989 as Kansas Air Center by a charter pilot flying out of Manhattan, the company started in the airport's historic stone hangar, moved beside the passenger terminal in 1995, and relocated in 2016 to a purpose-built facility with its own general-aviation ramp when airport expansion took its old site.
