Flight time calculator
Pick any two airports and a business jet — get the estimated flight time (jet-stream adjusted), great-circle distance and whether the route flies non-stop. Then find the FBO at both ends in the app.
The North-Atlantic jet stream blows west→east — eastbound is faster, westbound slower. It is far stronger in winter.
Indicative estimate only. Actual block time depends on real winds, ATC routing, weight, altitude and weather. Not for operational flight planning. FBO Finder accepts no liability for any decision made using this tool.
Find the FBO at every airport — and request handling in seconds.
How the estimate works
The calculator measures the great-circle distance between the two airports, adds ~7% for airways and ATC routing, applies a directional jet-stream wind component (so eastbound and westbound differ, stronger in winter), divides by the aircraft’s cruise true airspeed and adds a category-based taxi/climb/descent allowance. The range check compares the wind-adjusted routed distance against the aircraft’s published range to flag whether a technical fuel stop would be needed. Figures are indicative and never replace operational flight planning.
Why FBO Finder
FBO Finder is the free worldwide directory of private jet terminals — search thousands of FBOs across thousands of airports, see verified runway lengths, contacts and services, and send a handling request in seconds. Available on iOS and Android.
